Arc Raiders: Waking the Grid Quest Walkthrough and Location Guide

Welcome back to Digital Tech Explorer. I’m TechTalesLeo, and today we are diving back into the mechanical chaos of the Spaceport. If you’ve just wrapped up Dust on the Wires, you’ll find that the Waking the Grid quest triggers almost immediately. While the world of Arc Raiders is beautiful, its corridors can be a maze for the uninitiated.

This quest focuses on reactivating security protocols and investigating breaches within the Arrivals and Departure buildings. It isn’t the most combat-heavy mission, but navigating the Arrivals Building and the Security Control Center requires a bit of directional savvy. Let’s get your grid back online.

Quest Overview: Waking the Grid

Objective Location Key Action
Activate Security Sensors Guard Tower (Near Fuel Lines) Interact with yellow console
Start Security Control Center Departure Building Interact with terminal desk
Investigate Security Breach Arrival Building Data Office Cut the yellow marked wires

1. Activate Security Sensors in the Guard Tower

Your journey begins at the massive Spaceport wall. Numerous towers line this perimeter, but to keep your expedition efficient, I recommend heading to the tower situated just east of the Fuel Lines and west of Control Tower A6. This spot is generally easier to navigate under pressure.

Look for a break in the wall to the east of the tower. Climb up to reach the door on the upper walkway, then use the zipline to ascend. Once inside, you will spot a console marked with yellow indicators on your left. Interact with it to activate the security sensors.

2. Initialize the Security Control Center (Departure Building)

With the sensors live, head north toward the Departure Building. You are looking for the Security Control Center. For the most direct route, enter via the southwest side of the building. Walk past the long reception desk, take a sharp left, and then another left into the control room.

Search for a terminal desk in the back-right corner that is flashing red. Interacting with this terminal will sync the systems and advance you to the final stage of the quest.

3. Resolve the Security Breach in the Arrival Building

The final objective takes you further north to the Arrival Building. Your target is the Data Office. If you are entering from the main entrance inside the Spaceport, turn left at the main desk. Follow the corridor, turn right, and keep an eye out for signs labeled Data Office.

As you enter the room, an alarm will trigger—a clear sign you are in the right place. Head to the back-left corner where you’ll find a cluster of yellow-marked wires. Interact with them to cut the connection, silence the alarm, and successfully resolve the security breach.
