Arc Raiders: How to Complete the Clamoring for Attention Quest

As the landscape of Arc Raiders evolves with the Flashpoint update, survival now demands more than just sharp shooting—it requires a technical understanding of the mechanical threats roaming the surface. In the quest Clamoring for Attention, Shani tasks you with testing a theory: the machines are hyper-sensitive to acoustic signatures. To prove this, you’ll need to navigate the treacherous Blue Gate region and trigger high-decibel diversions using sirens, boomboxes, and vehicle horns.

While the premise sounds straightforward, the execution involves gathering specific technical components and hitting three distinct coordinates across the map. Here at Digital Tech Explorer, we’ve analyzed the most efficient path to help you complete this objective without becoming a permanent fixture of the wasteland.

Quest Preparation: Required Components

Before heading into the field, you must secure the necessary hardware. Attempting this quest without the right materials will lead to wasted runs and unnecessary exposure to hostile AI.

Item Quantity Common Locations
Wires 3 Computers, server boxes, control panels
Battery 1 Electrical stations, toolboxes, abandoned tech

For the most efficient gaming experience, I recommend looting these items from Technological and Electrical areas before specifically targeting the quest locations. Once your inventory is prepped, you are ready to engage with the three primary objectives.

Objective 1: Warehouse Complex Siren

Your first stop is the Warehouse Complex, situated near the heart of Blue Gate. You will need the three Wires for this step. Ascend to the roof of the complex and locate the tall utility pole on the northern corner. At the base of this structure sits a small yellow siren unit.

Interact with the unit to repair the wiring. Be warned: sounding this klaxon creates a massive acoustic footprint. While it satisfies Shani’s curiosity, it also broadcasts your exact coordinates to both machines and rival Raiders in the vicinity.

Objective 2: Village Boombox

Next, navigate to the Village in the northwest sector of Blue Gate. This is where your Battery is required. Instead of searching the residential interiors, head directly to the eastern side of the town center. You will find a boombox mounted on a wall near the refuse bins.

Inserting the battery will activate the device. Compared to the siren, the audio output here is lower, but in the silence of the wasteland, it remains a significant lure. Ensure your surroundings are clear before committing to the interaction.

Objective 3: Checkpoint Bus Horn

The final objective takes you to the Checkpoint. The road is littered with abandoned transit vehicles, but not all of them are functional for this quest. Avoid the buses trapped inside the Traffic Tunnels; the quest logic specifically tracks the vehicles on the open road.

Interact with the driver’s seat of any surface-level bus at the Checkpoint to sound the horn.

Enter any of the qualifying buses and interact with the driver’s seat prompt to blare the horn. During my technical walkthrough, this action immediately drew a Bombardier to the site, so have an extraction or combat plan ready.

The Reward: Technical Diversion Tools

Once you have completed the noise-making circuit, Shani provides a cache of tactical gear designed for distraction and scouting. While these aren’t high-tier weapons, they are essential for developers of advanced stealth builds and PC gamers looking for a tactical edge.

  • 5x Lure Grenades: Perfect for redirecting Arc attention away from your extraction point.
  • 5x Noisemakers: Deployable tools for creating localized acoustic distractions.
  • 3x Tagging Grenades: Vital for tracking enemy movement through structures.
