The latest Arc Raiders update, Shrouded Sky, has introduced a variety of new quests designed to challenge even the most seasoned Raiders. Among these, “Worth Your Salt” has quickly gained a reputation for being one of the more frustrating objectives to clear. While the logic of the quest is straightforward—requiring just a few interactions within a hangar—the execution is currently hindered by technical hurdles. Much like the previous challenges seen in the “A Prime Specimen” mission, the main obstacle here appears to be a synchronization bug where only the first player in a specific match instance can successfully trigger the final objective. At Digital Tech Explorer, our testing suggests you may need multiple deployments to catch a fresh session and complete this task.
How to Complete Worth Your Salt in Arc Raiders
Our field testing shows the Industrial Recharger is the central hub for the Worth Your Salt quest.
To begin your attempt, head to the northwest corner of Rocket Assembly located in the northern sector of the Spaceport. You’ll find this area tucked between Fuel Control and the East Container Yard. Look for the distinct warehouse marked by vibrant red walkways. Once you have secured the perimeter, follow these steps to process the objective:
Locate the Prototype: Ascend the stairs to the upper walkway and move toward the eastern corner. You will find the prototype battery tucked inside a crate next to a row of red lockers.
Transport to the Recharger: Carry the battery down to the Industrial Recharger. This machine is centrally located within the hangar, positioned near the main exit.
Initiate Power Cycle: Place the unit into the machine and use the handle on the side to begin the charging process.
The Final Drop-Off: Once the cycle is complete, take the fully powered battery to the small drop-off box situated in the northern corner of the hangar, right by the exit.
The good news for Raiders is that you do not need to extract alive to receive credit for “Worth Your Salt”—the quest completes the moment the battery hits the drop-off box. However, the current “first-come, first-served” bug remains a significant hurdle. While every player can find and charge their own battery, the drop-off box often stops accepting items if another Raider has already used it during that match. If you find yourself unable to interact with the box, you’ll likely need to try again in a new round. We are monitoring for a potential patch from the developers to address this, similar to previous quest fixes in the Headwinds update.
