Schedule 1 Guide: How to Find and Use the Pawn Shop to Sell Items

As your operation expands in the simulation game Schedule 1, managing inventory becomes crucial. If you’ve hired employees and find yourself with surplus equipment, the version 0.3.4 update introduces a helpful solution: the pawn shop. Before this update, players could only drop items to free up space, losing them permanently. Now, as highlighted here on Digital Tech Explorer, you can turn that unwanted gear into valuable cash—a welcome enhancement for aspiring kingpins.

How to Find and Use the Pawn Shop in Schedule 1

Finding the pawn shop is straightforward. It’s situated right next to the warehouse, near the motel and the bridge leading into Westville. Look for the distinct “pawn” sign above the entrance. Inside, you can sell almost any item except for your manufactured drugs. Mick, the proprietor, allows you to offer up to five different types of items at once. He’ll give you an initial price, and you’ll have the chance to haggle for a better deal.

While haggling is simple, proceed with caution. Pushing Mick too hard for a higher price will annoy him, and repeated attempts might cause the deal to fall through entirely. Mick isn’t known for his generosity, so it’s wise to be reasonable when negotiating beyond his first offer.

Since Mick doesn’t buy drugs (you’ll still need your dealers for distribution), the pawn shop is the perfect outlet for offloading equipment you’d otherwise discard. Got extra bin bags cluttering your inventory? Sell them. Using an old mixer? Trade it in for cash and put that towards upgrading to the mixer MK.II. Keep in mind that the cash earned here needs to be deposited at an ATM or laundered through one of your properties before you can use it for legitimate purchases, such as those detailed in guides on money laundering techniques.
