First, travel to the Beauty and the Beast realm and head straight to the library. The castle will appear darker than usual, with spiderwebs and candles setting a spooky scene. You’ll find Lumiere by the fire. He asks for your help crafting fuel for the fireplace. Go into the room to the right of the fireplace and collect the following materials from a crate:
- 3 x Castle Canoil
- 1 x Castle Softwood
- 1 x Castle Paper
Use the small stove next to the chest to combine the three Castle Canoil, which creates the fuel. Give the fuel to Lumiere, who will light the fire. He’ll then ask for your help catching a flying painting. The painting starts in the library and flies down the main hallway. Chase it and interact with it to grab it.
Take the painting to the piano near the realm’s entrance and hang it on the wall behind it. This will reveal an Enigmatic Box and a Domestic Manual page 1. Bring these items to Lumiere. He’ll explain that a ghost is haunting the castle and ask you to investigate the garden.

Go to the Beast’s Room in the west wing and open the crate under the painting to find four packs of rose seeds.
Return to the garden and plant the seeds by interacting with the bushes in each corner. When no roses bloom, talk to Cogsworth again. He will instruct you to craft some Rose Fertilizer. You’ll need the following materials:
- 8 x Castle Softwood
- 3 x Rich Soil
- 3 x Castle Stone
Craft the fertilizer and apply it to your watering can via your inventory. Water the four bushes, and they will instantly bloom with rainbow-colored roses. Six roses will drop to the ground; pick them up and show them to Cogsworth. Follow him into the hallway and place three of the roses in the highlighted vases near the piano area.

- Return the Globe to the Library.
Once you’ve placed the final item, Domestic Manual Page 3 and the Second Enigmatic Key will appear. Collect them and return to Lumiere. He will then ask you to find the rest of the Domestic Manual in the West Wing. Go to the Beast’s Room and interact with the pile of books under the painting on the left wall to find the Damaged Domestic Manual.
Take the damaged book to Lumiere. You’ll decide that Belle is the best person to fix it. Head back to your valley and speak with Belle and the Beast in their home. Belle will provide you with glue to repair the book. Use a crafting station to fix the book and then bring it back to Lumiere in the castle.

A clothing sack and an invitation will appear. Open the bag to receive a Masquerade Mask and pick up the invitation. To continue, you must complete the final quest, A Guide to Better Castle-Keeping. Speak to Cogsworth, who will ask you to find fine cutlery in the garden cellar. Take the cutlery back and place it on the large table near the piano. Next, speak to Lumiere, who asks you to create a Charcuterie Board using ingredients found in the realm. After crafting it at the cooking station, place it on the table. Cogsworth will then ask you to craft Rose Garlands using these materials:
- 8 x Castle Softwood
- 3 x Rainbow Rose Bouquet
- 3 x Castle Detritus
Craft the garland and hang it on the wall next to Cogsworth. After telling him everything is ready, take a selfie with Lumiere and Cogsworth.
